Ski Club

Skiing is Fun!

The Teen Rec Ski Club will offer TWO day trips to Windham Mountain during the 2010 season.:

The ski club is a fun opportunity for Holdrum students to enjoy skiing or snowboarding and to socialize outside of school in the company of friends.

All levels of skiers or snowboarders are welcome. Group and private lessons are available for students wanting to improve their skills.

Although there are adult chaperones both on the slopes and in the lodge, parents are advised to discuss proper etiquette and behavior on the slopes with their child prior to participation as the children do ski independently throughout the day.

Equipment may be rented in advance of all ski trips at Ski Barn in Paramus or Mount Everest Ski Shop in Westwood. Students may be entitled to a discount at Mount Everest Ski Shop when mentioning membership in the Holdrum Ski Club. ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR HELMETS ON THE SLOPES.
